Features

Booking requests – This app allows 3 type of booking requests.

Option 1: Book Now - Driver will get current booking request on the go and should accept in 60 seconds. When you accept a request, notification will be sent to the passenger.

Option 2: One Touch Booking – Driver will get only 60 seconds (customized by admin) to accept / reject request. With this option an ideal driver get an immediate ride and opportunity to serve the passenger in real time.

Option 3: Pre Booking – Now, schedules your ride and measures your future business with pre-booking requests from passengers for a specific date and time. Driver can negotiate fares with passengers. The app will also sends a reminder notification prior to 30 minutes of the pick-up for a pre-booking request when that day and time arrives.

Passenger Details – View passenger’s profile, ratings and feedback from other drivers before accepting the request. You can even get a change to look at the pick-up point.

Pending Request –The entire current and pre-booking request list is available here. If you receive multiple requests at the same time, those requests get lined up in the current booking request section. If you accept a request, the ride gets started immediately. In case you reject a request, you will be moved on the next immediate request in the row.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Map-view – Get instant view on your passenger’s pick-up and drop-off location on map.

Payment – Get paid in cash when you drop-off the passenger to the designated location.

Give ratings/feedback – Rate your passengers and write detailed feedback, which appears on a passenger’s profile.

Contacts us – Tu Taxi always welcomes your reviews/feedback about the app.

Notifications – Receive important updates, notifications and messages from the Tu Taxi. Payment notification is also received here.


How to use
• Start the application
• Register yourself and it will authenticate your mobile number with Twilio.
• Post registration, the Tu Taxi will accept / reject your request.
• You will be taken to the map-view where your current location is displayed.
• Login to the app to start viewing booking requests

This app needs good Internet connection and GPS reception. Tu Taxi app continuously runs GPS in the background. To optimize this, UDP is implemented for low battery consumption.
